What time zone are you in?
I’m in the U.S. Eastern time zone. I live in the Baltimore/Washtington DC area.
When will my order be delivered?
For orders up to 1,000 words, delivery will be within 36 hours of booking and acceptance of final script, unles otherwise arranged. For longer scripts, add an additional 24 hours per 1,000 words. Expedited delivery is available by arrangement for a rate of $25/day of expedition.
What if I need my voice over delivered extra fast?
Have a really tight turnaround time? No problem! Just select the Expedited Delivery option, and I’ll be happy to jump your job to the front of my queue. A charge of $25/day of expedition will be added to your quote.
What revisions do you provide?
Retake: A “retake” is any re-recording requested due to a mistake on my part – a misread line, or a request for a tone change, or to address any technical issues in the audio file. Retakes will be done without additional charge. I’m committed to providing the performance and technical quality that you need, and I want to work with you until we get it right.
Revisions: A “revision” is any change made to the script after recording has been done, partially or completely, of the final approved script. I will assume the script you’ve provided is correct, is as-desired, and is ready for production. It will be read as-written without correction or editing. I will be happy to work with you to re-record any revisions. Revision rates are $10 per update. Each update can be up to 25 consecutive words. There is a $25 minimum charge for revisions.
Are you able to add music or sound effects to the voice over?
I am! If you want a music track or sound effects added to the voiceover, make sure you select the “Background Music” add on. If you have the music you want added, please send it with your order. If not, let me know and I will help you select the perfect sound.
When do I have to pay?
First-time clients will be asked to make a 50% deposit prior to commencement of work, the balance due within 30 days of delivery of final audio files. Established clients will be asked to make payment in full within 30 days of delivery of final audio files. In invoice will be sent to you promptly upon delivery of final product. A late fee of $20 will be charged for each 30 day perioud beyond the first 30 days
In what format will the file be delivered?
Unless otherwise arranged, the final audio file will be delivered as a wav file if up to 4500 words, or mp3 if over 4500 words. If you would like to receive an alternative to the above, please let me know. If you would like multiple file formats, I’ll be happy to provide that for $10 per additional file type requested.
What audio specifications should I expect?
The file will be treated for noise reduction, with mastering – including equilization and compression – to optimize sound quality. If you prefer raw, unmastered audio please let me know.
General specification of mastered audio: Mono recording, 18-23 RMS, Max Peak: -1db, Noise Floor: max -60db, Sample Rate: 44100Hz, WAV depth (wav files): 24 bit , Bitrate (mp3) 192 kbs
