So you’ve decided to turn your kids book into an audiobook.  That’s super smart!  Not only does that open up many new opportunities to reach new audiences, it also makes new sources of revenue possible.

You may be asking yourself, how do you make an audiobook?  We discussed this in a previous blog post – check up on that discussion of the different options.  But let’s say you’ve read that and are trying to decide if you should go ahead and produce and narrate your book yourself.

You’ve realized that it’s a great idea to turn your book into an audiobook, or to make it available in audio format, because you want to open your book up to new audiences, find new readers, and generate more revenue.

But, how do you do it?

You have several paths to choose from, each with it’s own merits, and drawbacks.
